About Me

I recently retired as a librarian and was named Professor Emeritus at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.

During my career, I’ve published many articles in academic journals and monographs related to technology and libraries. Recent research topics included using a telepresence robot in the library as well as animal robots to alleviate stress in college students during finals.

Writing fiction is a new passion of mine as evident in Artificially Yours: A Tale of Uncanny Animals on Amazon, which I coauthored with Tee Clarke.

Tee and I have been friends since we met in first grade on the south side of Chicago. We  lived on the same block and survived Catholic grammar school.
